On-line applications are invited from the candidates through the proforma Application Form to be made available on WEBSITE (http:/lopsconline.gov.in) from 03.09.2018 TO 03.10.2018 (Note: 06.10.2018 is the last date for payment of examination fees) for admission to the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2018 for recruitment to the Posts and Services coming under the Odisha Civil Services (Group-A & Group-B) along with Scale of Pay as mentioned below. The Examination will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Odisha Civil Services (Combined Competitive Recruitrnent Examination) Rules, 1991 as amended from time to time. The relevant portions of the said Rules are available on the Website of the Commission.

ELIGIBILITY:

(i) Citizenship :

A candidate must be a citizen of India.

(ii) Age limits :

A candidate must be under 32 years and over 21 years of age as on the 1st January, 2018, i.e. he/she must not have been born earlier than 2nd January, 1986 and not later than let January, 1997. Age relaxation shall be as per Government Rules, prescribed for the purpose.

(iii) Educational Oualification :

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or a State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government.
